So, this is what it's like to finally be 21. I feel.......exactly the same. You know, alone and generally pretty miserable and just lacking. Lacking someone. Lacking something. Lacking a lot of things, actually. I think if I could find someone, the rest would kinda fall into place, but the chances of that happening are, well, not in my favor.

I guess it's not all bad though. This weekend in Lexington should be a good time and just over four weeks and I will be happy, if only for that week. March 8-11 is the SEC tournament in Atlanta, and that coincides with the start of spring break. That will be awesome, and then the next weekend is full of shows I need to be at. Friday March 16th is Brand New in Columbus. I've never seen Brand New as headliners and I will be front and center there. Saturday the 17th is the Taste of Chaos in Dayton, Chiodos, The Used, Senses Fail, Aiden and some others; it'll be good. Then Sunday the 18th is Sparta and mewithoutyou in Covington. I've wanted to see both them for a long time now.

Well, Brand New was nothing short of fucking amazing. They were sooo much better than I ever could've anticipated; pair that with me being incredibly anxions/excited/nervous/happy about seeing Jesse Lacey anyway, and you arrive at a show that puts me in near euphoria. I just wish they could've played more than 7 songs and it would've been general admission so I could've been up against the barricade, feet if not mere inches from the stage.

Even Dashboard was much better than the first time I saw them, but they still didn't compare with Brand New.

Great show, definitely.

Oh, and to anyone who may or may not "owe" me $5: Don't worry about it.

So, maybe I like TBS to draw titles from.

I've come to learn that Brand New has finally set a release date for their new album, November 21st. That in and of itself thrills me, but it gets better. Of all the places in the world they could play, they're coming to Morehead. My head almost exploded upon reading that, just from the sheer level of amazing. Jesse Lacey - my hero - is coming to morehead. Anyone wanna go? I'll definitely drive. Fucking incredible.

Ever get something or someone in your head for no reason, and can't get it/them out? I don't get it. No foundation for any of it, yet, it sticks....
